The Club has a range of equipment that is available for members to hire. In some cases this is free, in others there is a small charge. The equipment includes:
  • Canon XEED SX-60 digital projector
  • Sony VAIO laptop with software
  • Wacom Intuos3 A5 Tablet
  • X-Rite Eye-one for monitor calibration
  • Bowens Esprit studio flash outfit
  • Studio backgrounds and supports
  • Slide copier
The software includes:
  • Adobe Photoshop CS4
  • Adobe Photoshop Elements
  • Adobe Lightroom 2.2
  • Photodex ProShow Gold
This is a great opportunity to experiment with these programs.

We also have books about Lightroom and hopefully we will be getting some more training materials.

Making a start with blogging

Here we are with our revamped website - thanks Joules and looking forward to your continuing webmastering.

This is a good opportunity to thank Julie and Ian Coombes for organising the photo competition at St Annes Junior & Infants schools and also for the excellent turn out of club members on the day. We put on an impressive show which drew a lot of interest.

We'll continue to sponsor local photo competitions under the theme of Photo in the Community - "What I Like & What I'd like to Change"
